Podcaster, Public speaker, Educator & T.V Personality

"Kate is an exemplary human and audiences love her and warm to her straight away, added to that she is a genuienly spectacular broadcasting talent" - Mathew hardy

So, who is Kate?

So, who even am I? I mean that is a deep question and there is not enough room in a paragraph to answer that. And due to my amazing personality on any given day I might just have a different answer. But the short answer (and I hate short answers) is I am a Melbourne/Naarm based podcaster, writer, mother, partner and lover of mountains, I eat cheese even though I am lactose intolerant, I drink copious cups of tea (with soy milk, cause I am to old for oat milk), and I do not understand how people hike for pleasure, but I respect their lifestyle choices. As I write this my twin boys are bottle flipping very loudly on the table me and my laptop share and my dog is licking my knee, but yet I am in my happy place writing as so many women before me have in the middle of glorious chaos. Oh, and because I think it is important, I love St Kilda football club, women’s cricket (and the blokes do ok too) which sort of segue to being a very happy lesbian. I think that’s enough if you want to know more pop one of my podcasts in your ear, subscribe to my newsletter or follow me on Instagram.

Honestly... I'm Lonely

Hi there, My name is Kate, and Honestly … I’m Lonely.

In my latest podcast each week, an episode will come out on a Tuesday. The Tuesday episode will usually have a guest who will share their lonely journey, on Friday there will be a bonus episode, don’t worry it won’t be behind a pay wall, it’s just a cheeky Friday bonus for you. The real bonus is going to come from listening to my rather awesome partner, who just happens to be a psychologist, unpack with me one or two of the Lonely Issues raised in the Tuesday pod. Together we will try and work out why certain things make us feel lonely and what that means.

Too Peas in a Podcast

Too Peas in a Podcast is a Podcast by Kate Mulholland and Mandy Hose.

Listen to Kate and Many laugh (a lot) and cry as they chat to each other and friends about parenting multiples with disabilities and additional needs.

The single Life of us

Between them, comedian Nelly Thomas and podcaster Kate Mulholland were married for 52 years. They are now back on the shelf. And bloody loving it.

We were raised to think being single and over 40 meant loneliness, failure and a life of Lean Cuisine and Love Actually. In The Single Life of Us Kate and Nelly celebrate single-mid-life and counter the doom and gloom narrative.

Books, Podcasts & more

Kate and Mandy are sharing their story on the page, delving deeper into the issues they care about and offering reassurance for those navigating a child’s disability. They write candidly about what it’s like to receive the initial diagnosis, how they perceive their children’s lives have been impacted by their additional needs, how their own lives have changed, and those of their family and friends. Above all they convey their immense love for their children and the happiness they have brought into their lives.

With their signature empathy, honesty and compassion, the Too Peas invite you into their world to laugh, cry and make a difference.
